Del Sol’s menudo is beef tripe soup with hominy, served with four corn or three flour tortillas. It is on the menu Friday through Monday only, so plan the weekend around it.
On the other days, the beef or chicken caldo is boiled with carrots, cabbage, Mexican squash, corn and potatoes, and served with rice and tortillas.

Ask about the concha sandwich.
There is an off-menu breakfast sandwich made on a concha from the panadería. It was featured when Chris Shepherd visited Del Sol for KPRC 2’s Eat Like a Local in 2025. Just ask for it.
To drink: a Hercules (fresh orange juice, carrots, beets and celery), a papaya, banana or strawberry licuado, or a natural horchata.
